WHAT THE  ... Mixtapes You Might've Missed will feature hip hop tracks from mixtapes that I happened upon between 2010 and 2012.  Gabe Martins, to whom this this party is dedicated, is a great friend of mine who single-handedly resuscitated hip hop for me during my last year living in Brooklyn.  Without him, it's likely that I'd be serving up far, far wacker tracks on the 15th. 

If you like Black Star, The Roots, Biggie, Dilated Peoples, OutKast, Ras Kass, Canibus or Slum Village, then I think you'll enjoy the party.  If you can't make it or want to listen again after the party's over, the full playlist will be available on Sunday.
